This is a current 'work in progress'. Picked up a second-hand parachute at Dorset Steam Fair for a very reasonable price. The parachute was no-longer fit for use as an active parachute, but thinking laterally, it was an awful lot of fabric for the price. The first project creating a bag from the parachute fabric went well, and hardly made a dent in the amount of fabric. Time for something more challenging. The Simplicity 2172 is a staple pattern for any enthusiastic Steampunk fan.

The basic coat has been finished, and will be on display at Brighton Mini Maker Faire 2014. Additional embroidery to complete the project will be an on-going task.
